This only works for simple volumes

Get NTFS volume UUID
 lsblk -f

 sudo mkdir /var/mnt/whatever
 sudo vim /etc/fstab

 UUID=NTFS_UUID_GOES_HERE /var/mnt/whatever ntfs defaults,ro,nofail 0 0

If the drive is a dynamic mirror you need to use ldmtool instead, see [[Using ldmtool to mount NTFS dynamic mirror]]
